First United Methodist Church is here to serve the greater Franklin County area as our local ministry area.  We are here to serve those who may be just beginning to investigate the claims of Jesus Christ.  Therefore, God's Word is explained in a practical and relevant way.  We are also here to serve those already committed to Christ.  We will encourage you in your spiritual journey and help you deepen your spiritual roots.  Here are a few areas that are important to us:
